The “USAA 3,000,000 Mile Commuter Challenge” took place throughout greater San Antonio and involved thousands of commuters who reduced more than 3,000,000 miles of driving by carpooling, vanpooling, riding the bus, walking to work, biking to work and telecommuting.
Over 2,800 commuters from 164 different San Antonio companies participated in the event and saved close to $1 million in commuting costs while earning over $75,000 in valuable rewards from H-E-B, Champps, Fire Wok, Express Lube, Papa Johns, The Cove, Matamoros, Aldaco’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Jamba Juice, Pat O’Brien’s and dozens of other sponsors listed below.
Two lucky commuters won milestone prizes for two round-trip airline tickets anywhere in the continental U.S. courtesy of USAA. To see each of the winners select the corresponding milestone prize from the menu in the upper right corner.
